Understanding Your Options

Three Degree Levels. One Clear Pathway.

Every programme at SEVIC-HITM can be studied at three levels. Start at HND and progress to BTech and MTech as your career grows — all under one roof, all MINESUP recognised.

Level 1

HND — Higher National Diploma

The fastest route from secondary school to professional employment. Two years of intensive, practical training leading to a MINESUP-recognised diploma. The HND is Cameroon's Anglophone equivalent of the BTS — valid for employment in the public service and private sector, and as a foundation for the BTech.

Entry: BAC or GCE A-Level

Level 2

BTech — Bachelor of Technology

The full undergraduate degree. HND holders can top up to BTech through an accelerated pathway. The BTech opens doors to senior technical and management roles, and is widely recognised by employers, professional bodies and academic institutions across Cameroon and beyond.

Entry: HND or equivalent

Level 3

MTech — Master of Technology

The postgraduate level. The MTech is for professionals who want to lead at the highest level, specialise deeply, or pursue research and academic careers. It qualifies graduates for director-level roles, consultancy, and further academic study internationally.

Entry: BTech or equivalent

For O-Level Holders

Passed O-Level? Your Path Starts at SEVICTI.

You do not need A-Levels to start your higher education journey. Our sister institution SEVICTI.CM offers a 1-year professional Diploma programme open to O-Level holders. After completing the Diploma, you can progress directly into the HND at SEVIC-HITM. No dead ends — just a stepping stone designed for you.
